The restaurant, bar and club space of the Conrad Hotel, named for the number of the street you will find it on. It’s a beautiful lounge done up in light cream and orange tones with extravagant ornamental lamps hanging over shiny tables. The menu is modern Italian and moneyed travellers and business types dominate at breakfast and lunch. The kitchen has good fun with it: come in for their “87 Chill Out” Champagne Brunch or the “87 Miles Per Hour” Business Lunch – one for diplomats and racing drivers. Later on it fills up with a less work-focused crowd who like fine cosmopolitans poured by attentive staff, and late-night boogying to the live bands.
