A fun go-go with the best Rock & Roll cover band in Thailand.

The band is happy for musicians to come on stage and play one of the instruments for a while, and anyone who wants to grab a microphone and sing is welcome as well.

Baccara can be credited with the revival of Soi Cowboy a few years ago. It featured the first large transparent floor in between two dancing stages. Below some classic a go go dancing goes on, the girls ‘dressed up’. Above, the girls appear younger and wear a school uniform type outfit, most of the time without panties. So some frantic neckstretching is going on at the lower floor. One of the more expensive places though.

Next door Sam’s 2000 is a small restaurant that does a good business providing food to hungry visitors in the Tilac bar affiliated bars. Prices are just a bit steep, especially for ‘farang’ food, but it is a good place to observe the going on’s in the soi. Black and White has been around for a long while, and is one of the more sedate places to visit.

Cactus Club is a smaller (one townhouse wide) new addition to the Soi. Affiliated with Long Gun it also features similar shows. The bar has yet to pick up customers. Seating is somewhat cramped, especially on the left side of the dancing stage. The bar makes one remember how Long Gun started up some years ago, so maybe this bar has also a good future.

DeJa Vu A Go Go Bar is  the newest addition to Soi Cowboy in Bangkok. It is Best design with two floors of entertainment. Dollhouse has helped bring Soi Cowboy more upmarket. Bar has a good layout. The girls dance with rather transparent and revealing short skirts without panties. Not strictly naked, but as close as it gets. There is a small stage on the second flood, and a transparent ceiling in between. Prices are just a trifle more expensive than at most places, especially for soft drinks and hot beverages.

Lo-litas is a chain of B-J bars in Thailand. This particular location is the original one and is an institution for men seeking expert oral care services.

Long Gun is probably the most successful bar on the soi. It is relatively small, but almost always crowded and it is difficult to find a seat on one of the preferred barstools around the stage. The bar is famous for its sexotic shows, which can go on for an hour or more once they start. Many ladies dance in the nude (if the bar can get away with it, and this applies for all the bars).

Midnite bar got new management over the last 2 years, and has since become a popular place to visit. The girls here dance mostly naked, even many times when restrictions seem to apply in other bars. The girls are easily the raunchiest in the soi.
